MJP Wealth Advisors Returns as a Sponsor of the Fairfield Half Marathon
MJP Wealth Advisors is proud to be a returning sponsor of the Fairfield Road Races, which will take place the weekend of June 1st and 2nd in Fairfield, CT. The event supports numerous local charities and non-profit organizations in the community.
The Fairfield Road Races returns this year with the signature two-day event at Jennings Beach in Fairfield, CT. On Saturday, June 1st the 5K and Lil’ Stags Kids Fun Run will take place. The half marathon will be held on Sunday, June 2nd. The Lucas Challenge, sponsored by Fairfield University, challenges runners to conquer both the half marathon and the 5K, totaling 18.2 miles during both days of the race weekend.
The post-race beach party, a runner favorite, features live music, food vendors, and an awards ceremony. The race also includes several bands and cheer groups along the half marathon and 5K race courses that cheer on all the runners as they pass.
The Fairfield Road Races is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization committed to raising funds for local non-profit and community organizations, including Ben’s Lighthouse and Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. The non-profit event and its participants have raised nearly $5 million for community organizations since it began in 1981.
