Brian Vendig Recognized on Forbes 2020 Best-in-State Wealth Advisors

Brian Vendig is honored to be recognized for the third consecutive year on the Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list. Highlighting the top wealth advisors across the country, the list includes over 4,000 financial professionals managing, collectively, over $4 trillion in client assets.

State by state rankings to promote local business and relationships

Advisors are ranked state by state to ensure that potential clients can use these rankings to connect with the right advisor for their needs. According to R.J. Shook, president and founder of SHOOK Research, the firm that develops the rankings, "It is our belief clients are oftentimes better served by local representation...Many of the clients we talk to say they consider their advisors and teams like a part of their families, so it's nice to have them close by." This philosophy mirrors Brian’s dedication to helping clients by being present and available for them.

An award based on qualitative and quantitative data

The Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors ranking is based on both qualitative and quantitative criteria.  Advisors who meet a certain set of criteria are nominated by their firms, and then Forbes selects candidates to move to the next levels of the process, which measure each advisor by factors such as in-person interviews, industry experience, compliance records, revenue produced, and assets under management. As always, we will strive to deliver the best possible experience and the highest level of service for our clients.

Advisors do not pay a fee for placement on Forbes Top Advisor rankings, which are independently determined by Shook Research.

Forbes-ranked advisors, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on in-person and telephone due diligence meetings to evaluate each advisor qualitatively, a major component of a ranking algorithm that includes: client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations; and quantitative criteria, including: assets under management and revenue generated for their firms. Investment performance is not a criterion because client objectives and risk tolerances vary, and advisors rarely have audited performance reports. Rankings are based on the opinions of SHOOK Research, LLC and not indicative of future performance or representative of any one client’s experience. For more information: www.SHOOKresearch.com.
